WHAT IS GAP TRAINING?
At H.E.A.T, we understand about the gap between graduating physical therapy and being prepared physically / mentally so you can compete at your most optimal performance levels. The graduation of PT may have occurred due to insurance or by the physical therapists' recommendation. In either circumstance, we are here to prepare you to return back to your daily movements without any discomfort(s) while being confident within overcoming any “mental roadblocks!”
Our goal is to prep your body for the unpredictable sport environment while in a controllable arena. We want you to not just return back to playing, but we want you to return back better than you were before your injury! Our coaches will work with you on body mechanics, form, strength, speed techniques, and everything else that will get you over the injury hump and onto the performance side of training! We will do everything in our knowledge and power to remove that inkling of hesitation and doubt in the back of your mind. We want to not only strengthen your body, but your mind too!
We must make it clear though that we are NOT physical therapist[s]. We are strength and conditioning coaches who have the knowledge through years of experience and education that allows us to design a program that progresses you from post-rehab to performance. We can work along side your physical therapist towards the end of your PT program or pick up where they left off. The only question left is… Are you ready to bring the H.E.A.T?
